The Owen Sound Salvation Army Food Bank will likely get a huge donation in the New Year.
The local food bank continues to hold a very big lead in voting for the Kraft Assists Food for Families contest.
The Salvation Army Food Bank has close to 20 thousand signatures (as of 2 PM Monday).
The next closest food bank has about four thousand signatures.
For every signature a food bank collects, Kraft Canada will donate one dollar, giving away a total of 50 thousand dollars amongst the 30 food banks.
As of today, more than 42 thousand signatures have been collected for the 30 food banks in total.
The food bank with the most signatures at the end of the contest will collect another 10 thousand dollars from Kraft Canada.
