The City of Owen Sound is hosting an open house tonight, with a review of the Trails Map in the city and an outline of the Trails Master plan document.
It will allow the public to provide feedback in relation to the final Trails Map and content in the Master plan.
Back in the spring of 2011, Owen Sound added the trail networks and routes throughout the city to its’ existing city maps.
It is now an essential part of the Owen Sound Safe Trails network project and will act as the official inventory of City of Owen Sound Trails.
Funded by the Ministry of Health Promotion “Health Communities Fund”, the mapping and public input will lead to the creation of a Trails Master Plan document in early 2012.
Tonight’s Public Open house is at 7 PM in the Bay Room at the Bayshore Community Centre.
