It took 23 firefighters to put out a home fire in Kincardine.
Kincardine Fire Chief Jamie MacKinnon says they were called out just before 1 AM on Wednesday.
A neighbour of the cottage had been alerted of the fire by her dog.
When the two pumper trucks arrived, the cottage was fully engulfed in flames.
Firefighters were able to stop the flames from spreading, but the fire caused a complete loss estimated at 150 thousand dollars.
There was also some heat damage to the home next door.
Nobody was home at the time, and no injuries have been reported.
Chief MacKinnon says the fire is still under investigation but not considered suspicious.
Hydro One helped firefighters by isolating power to the property, and OPP and Bruce County EMS were on hand as well.
