There is a new playground in Allenford.
The municipality of Arran Elderslie unveiled new playground equipment this weekend after receiving almost 24 thousand dollars in funding.
The Ontario Trillium Foundation provided the funding.
Bruce Grey Owen Sound MPP Bill Murdoch says there is now a safe area where parents can bring their children to play.
The playground is located at the ball park and the Allenford Community Park Committee has other improvements planned for the park.
