Three Kincardine organizations have solidified a stronger working relationship.
Kincardine council has learned the Penetangore Regional Economic Development Corporation (PREDC), the Kincardine BIA and the Kincardine & District Chamber of Commerce have signed a memorandum of understanding.
PREDC Chair Jim Prenger says it’s great news that the three groups are working together.
He says they’re already working on the Integrated Communities Sustainability Program, with an eye to energizing downtown Kincardine.
The Executive Director of PREDC Gerry Taylor says they are establishing a “Team Kincardine” approach to addressing community needs.
Meanwhile, Kincardine councillor Ron Coristine, who supported the concept since its beginning, says there is strength is numbers to help move along economic development.
Coristine calls the MOU signing historic because the solid partnership is going to result in benefits for the community.
