There is a new operator for the Chatsworth and Walter’s Falls water systems.
The Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) has been awarded the contract to look after the two systems at a cost of just over $100,000 a year.
The previous operator, Ross Johnson resigned, but will stay on to ensure a smooth transition.
OCWA will be responsible for replacing ultraviolet bulbs and any minor repairs required for the operation of the water systems.
OCWA also operates the Meaford waste water system and the Chatsworth fish hatchery water system.
