Ontario Conservative MPP’s are gearing up for the return of the legislature this fall.
Although no firm date has been announced, Bruce Grey Owen Sound MPP Bill Walker expects they will head to Queens Park by the middle of November.
In the meantime, Walker has been busy with an orientation session for new MPPs’ and a then a caucus meeting with all PC members.
On Tuesday — Tory Leader Tim Hudak announced his shadow cabinet.
All three local MPPs from our area will have positions in that shadow cabinet.
The most prominent is Simcoe Grey MPP Jim Wilson who is the House leader for the party.
Bill Walker is Deputy Critic for Rural and Northern Health, while Huron Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson is the Deputy Critic for Energy and the Green Energy Act.
