South Bruce Peninsula council is changing the structure of its meetings.
Mayor John Close says the result will be councillors will end up meeting twice a month instead of four times a month.
Close says they are going to combine their Committee of the Whole and Regular Council meetings on the first and third Tuesdays of each month.
The meetings will begin at 1:30 PM with the COW meeting, followed by a supper break and then the regular council meeting in the evening.
Close says before the decision was made to change, there was a public meeting held where a couple of issues of concern were brought up but not enough to cancel the change.
Close says he believes the combined meeting will make it more flexible for the general public and specific delegations to visit.
He says delegations can either chose to address the COW meeting in the afternoon or the regular council meeting in the evening.
The change takes effect on Tuesday, November 1st.
