Meaford has received some funding for its youth.
The Ontario Healthy Communities Fund has allocated a grant for 15 thousand dollars for the town to help cover the cost of its youth leadership program.
Youth ages 10 to 14 took part in the summer program and learned about nutrition, bullying and internet safety.
Older teens involved with the Community for Youth Coalition also received funding to plan and host the 5th Annual Youth Summit.
Teens from across Bruce and Grey Counties will attend the summit on November 17th and 18th.
