Have you ever wondered about your family roots?
The Hanover Library is hosting a Family History workshop.
It’s a free four week workshop led by Mark and Phoebe Turley — who are experts in the field of family history and genealogy.
They will provide helpful tips on where to start, how to gather records and introduce tools such as websites, library resources and county archives.
Participants will be taught how to search records and piece together family records.
Library Assistant Theresa Seim says the subject is becoming more and more popular thanks to new TV programs.
The first workshop begins Thursday October 27th but participants need to register in advance.
