Organizers of two fairly new Scenic City festivals want your input.
Those putting on Lupercalia and OTHERfolk are holding a public consultation today at 3:30 PM at the United Way of Bruce Grey in Owen Sound at 380 9th Street East.
The Lupercalia Winter Multi-Arts Festival is set for the February Family Day Long Weekend, while OTHERfolk happens each August.
Josh Richardson from Mudtown Records says being just the second year for Lupercalia they’re hoping for input and advice, as well as sponsors.
Staying relatively mum on who’s headlining Lupercalia, Richardson did hint the act was a runner-up to Montreal’s Arcade Fire for the 2011 Polaris Music Prize.
He says the name of the band will be revealed in the Winter Guide to Owen Sound on November 14th.

Richardson encourages your comments and says they’re interested in volunteers to help with both festivals as well.
