All four ridings home to Bayshore Broadcasting stations elected PC representatives in Thursday’s provincial election.
In Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound, long-time MPP Bill Murdoch’s open seat was filled by new PC candidate Bill Walker.
Huron-Bruce saw Liberal cabinet minister Carol Mitchell turfed in exchange for PC candidate Lisa Thompson.
PC Jim Wilson cruised to re-election in Simcoe-Grey while incumbent Garfield Dunlop was also elected for another term in Simcoe North.
Provincially, Dalton McGuinty’s Liberals were returned to power albeit with a smaller mandate before.
They now hold 53 seats, just shy of the 54 required for a majority in Ontario.
Tim Hudak’s Progressive Conservatives made big gains as did Andrea Horwath’s NDP.
