City By-Law and Parking Enforcement is being transferred to Owen Sound Police Services.
Starting today, the staff and operations of by-law and parking enforcement will be moved from City Hall to the Owen Sound Police Service at 922 2nd Avenue West.
Parking fines can still be paid in person at City Hall until October 31st and On-line payment options will still be available through the city of Owen Sound website in addition to the Owen Sound Police website.
Inspector Vince Wurfel at Owen Sound Police says monthly parking passes will continue to be purchased at city hall until December 23rd.
After that, they can be purchased at the Owen Sound Police building.
With the exception of the new operational location of city By-Law and Parking Enforcement, Wurfel says the general public will experience minimal change from this transfer.
