Local artists are being asked to submit pieces to the Canadian National institute for the Blind.
The Owen Sound branch is holding an Eyes on the Arts exhibit in the month of October.
The contest is open to all Grey-Bruce artists and crafts persons of any age or skill level.
But it must be a piece of tactile art so that those who are blind or partially-sighted can experience the work.
The installation can be a maximum size of 3 feet by 3 feet, but it must not melt or be bio-degradable, with no dangerous edges or strong odour.
There is a 10 dollar submission fee.
Submissions must be made by October 1st (tomorrow),
Throughout the month of October, chosen works will be displayed at a highly visible venue in downtown Owen Sound.
The public can then enter the exhibit and vote for their favourite piece.
