Owen Sound police, fire and ambulance all responded today after a man lost his footing and fell, hitting his head on rocks in the Sydenham River.
It happened at the bridge on 9th street, right in front of Tim Horton’s.
Owen Sound firefighters used a rope rescue and basket to pull the man up from the waters edge.
The victim had head injuries.
Owen Sound police say the Scenic city resident was taken to hospital for assessment.
He was treated for his injuries and released.
No name has been released.
