A Walkerton school is grieving the loss of one of its own students.
Crisis response teams are in Sacred Heart High School this week to help students cope with loss of a very popular student who passed away suddenly on Monday.
Director of Education Bruce MacPherson say the crisis team includes social workers, teaching staff as well as the local priest.
MacPherson says all of Sacred Heart is in deep mourning.
Student Trustee Jocelyn King agrees saying this is a very difficult time for the entire school community.
MacPherson says students and staff are turning to their Catholic faith to help them through this trying time.
He says We look to our faith and we pray.
MacPherson says the Crisis Response Teams will remain in the school for as long as necessary.
The teams are administering to students as well as staff.
