A solution is at hand.
Roberta Brignell of the Community Foundations Grey Bruce says her group, along with Bayshore Broadcasting, the United Way Bruce Grey and the Trillium Foundation are presenting a grant writing and radio media relations workshop.
On Soundingboard Brignell says the workshop will provide hands-on experience in how to apply for grants and what to look for when applying.
She also says a radio presentation will be made showing non-profit groups how to get their message out through radio.
Brignell says it’s a challenging year economically and they want to make sure non-profit groups have the best possible tools to get the grants that will benefit people in their communities.
The workshop is being held at the Hanover Masonic Lodge on Tuesday, February 17th, 10am to 2pm.
Cost is $5 per person to cover lunch and refreshments.
