The clock is ticking on getting water meters installed in South Bruce Peninsula and dragging your feet could potentially cost you extra money.
South Bruce Peninsula Mayor John Close says the installations that are being covered by money in the town’s reserves could come to an end after September 30th.
Close says after September it could be the homeowners responsibility to hire a plumber to hook up the water meter.
That cost could also be the responsibility of the homeowner.
Close urges everyone to call in and set up an appointment to get the job done before the end of the month.
Right now installers are taking appointments at 1-800-667-4387.
