Look for another influx of workers to come into the Bruce Power site in Tiverton.
The head of corporate affairs James Scongack reported to Bruce County Council recently that a couple of unit outages will be occurring in October and November.
Scongack says Unit 5 will undergo a standard maintenance outage and later a five-to-six-month outage on Unit 3 will begin.
He says he expects an increase in workers from the building trades and services in order to get the work done.
Scongack says on the Unit 3 outage, worth several hundred million dollars, there will be a spike in boilermakers on the job from Ontario and other parts of Canada, along with some from the United States.
