The Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority has issued a Flood Warning after about 30 mm of rain fell over the watershed overnight.
They warn that there will be flooding in low lying areas and the communities of Creemore, Stayner Angus and Innisfil could experience some localized flooding.
Doug Hill, the Flood Officer for the Grey Sauble Conservation Authority says they received anywhere from 25 to 37 mm of rain in various areas of the watershed.
He says the Sauble River Watershed received the most rainfall, about 37 mm or one inch and its expected the river will continue to rise today and peek at Sauble Falls sometime tomorrow.
Hill says officials are monitoring water levels and watching out for potential flooding in the Allenford, Tara and Sauble Falls.
He says the Big Head and Beaver rivers to peek later today.
Meanwhile, Dave Pybus, the Flood Director for the Saugeen Conservation Authority says they received about 35 mm of rain over the entire water shed overnight and water levels will be at traditional spring runoff flows.
He says there probably will be some localized flooding in traditional low lying areas, but there should be no serious problems.
