The first five artists have been signed up to appear at the “Out of the Storm” tornado benefit in Goderich on October 8th.
So far The Arkells, the Downchild Blues Band, country artist Serena Ryder, The Salads with Choclair and early rapper Maestro Fresh Wes are on the list.
Organizers say more acts will be announced in the coming days.
They’ll be playing against a backdrop that brings home the reason for the concert.
The Square in Goderich is the scene of some of the heaviest damage done by the August 21st tornado.
Tickets are 45-dollars each and are available at a wide range of sponsor outlets.
Children under 12 are admitted free.
