Organizers of this year’s 7th Annual Rotary Winterama are celebrating the season this weekend.
Several events are taking place in Shallow Lake and Port Elgin on Saturday.
United Way Executive Director Francesca Dobbyn says money raised will go towards youth projects.
Participants can do everything from snowshoeing and skating to skiing and snowmobiling.
Registration at the Shallow Lake arena or Port Elgin Plex goes from 10 to 11:30 with a hot lunch served at noon.
Minimum pledge is 25 dollars to take part.
The Tobermory Snowmobile club is also participating in Winterama with events at the tip of the Peninsula.
