Huron Bruce MPP Carol Mitchell announced the new project today.
She says once all the necessary local approvals are in place for the proposed building in the East Ridge Business Park, the new building will feature state-of-the-art amenities to assist the police in doing their work.
Today’s announcement came as part of the McGuinty government’s OPP modernization project which will see new OPP facilities in 15 communities over the next year and a half.
The project will employ local workers during the construction phase.
