A very successful Cops for Cancer event in Saugeen Shores.
About $23,900.00 was raised at the 9th annual golf tournament and shave off at the Saugeen Golf Club.
16 brave souls went under the razor to have their heads shaved off last night.
Among them were members of the Cobean family whose daughter Caitlin Cobean was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor.
Caitlin’s brother, Dylan, volunteered to have his head shaved and Caitlin helped out in shaving Dylan’s head.
The highest amount from one person belonged to Dale Dureski who collected $3,500.00 in pledges.
There was also a golf tournament earlier in the day that also raised money for cancer research.
