It’s a busy week across Bruce and Grey Counties when it comes to Cops For Cancer Events.
Many communities are raising money for children’s cancer research.
A week long list of shave offs kicks off tonight at Marydales’ Family Restaurant in Lion’s Head at 7 o clock.
Spokesperson Annette Robson says tonight’s funds will be added to a running total of 61 hundred 85 dollars raised back on April 1st for Cops For Cancer.
Tomorrow four people will shave their heads at the Wiarton and District Fire Hall.
Thursday, Students at Sacred Heart in Walkerton are taking part in shave off events, so will students at Saugeen Shores Distict Secondary School.
A 5th Anniversary Cops for Cancer Celebration takes place at the Meaford Arena on Friday at 6.
There is also an event Friday at 6 in Hanover, at Hanover Square Park.
Owen Sound’s large shave-off will be held in the parking lot of Bayshore Broadcasting on May 31st.
There is also a shave off, combined with a golf tournament at the Saugeen Shores Golf Club; 98 the Beach’s own John Divinski is the MC for that event.
