There is a new look to this year’s Saugeen Shores Community Guide.
It’s put out each year by the Chamber of Commerce; and is available now.
General Manager Joanne Robbins says they’ve partnered with the small business centre in Saugeen Shores to do the guide.
Robbins says it’s the most extensive guide for the community available.
It covers the community’s profile, offering information on the economy, tourism, energy, recreation, and small business.
Robbins says it also offers details on community services like health care and long term care.
She says it also offers detailed statistics of the demographic of Saugeen Shores.
You can find out everything from the current population to how much the average person makes to how many men versus women are in what profession.
Robbins says it also offers a community contact guide, along with a chamber guide of businesses.
The guide is meant to encourage businesses and residents to relocate to Saugeen Shores, and gives them all of the information they need to do so.
Robbins says it is a great resource those for area residents, providing them with a one stop resources of what their own community has to offer.
Seven thousand of the guides are in circulation across the region, and are available at various locations, including the tourism office, real estate offices, and the Bruce Power Visitors Centre.
