Still no talks planned to end a three week old strike at the Grey Bruce Health Unit.
In a press release issued yesterday, OPSEU says its negotiators are set to return to the bargaining table to represent the 27 clerical and office staff who hit the picket line May 1st.
However the conciliator reports that he has not been contacted by the Health Unit bargaining team and they have not responded to his phone calls for talks to resume.
The striking workers say they’re hopeful negotiations will resume as soon as possible.
The main issue is wage parity with other health units around the province.
