The 8th annual PEAK awards will be handed out Tuesday night at Cobble Beach Golf links in Georgian Bluffs.
The Bruce Community Futures Development Corporation is hosting the gala event.
Chair of the Board of Directors, Barb Fisher, says the awards are a way to celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit that is alive and well in Bruce Grey.
Fisher says small business forms the back-bone of our nations’ economy and they play a critical role in generating employment in local communities.
Tonight’s award ceremony is part of the 25th anniversary celebration for the Bruce Community Futures Development Corporation.
It provides assistance including business plan development, financing up to 150 thousand dollars and support for small business in Grey Bruce Owen Sound.
Tickets for the gala event at Cobble Beach are 45 dollars.
