There are head hunters on the job in Saugeen Shores.
They’re looking for heads that can be shaved at the upcoming community event at the Saugeen Shores Golf Club on May31st.
Spokesperson Bev Wark says they always have room for more golfers and of course more heads to be shaved through Cops for Cancer, aiding cancer research.
Wark says the day will begin with some lunch at noon, followed by a round a golf, some dinner, the head shaving event and the prize giveaways.
He says the cost is $80 per person and you will get a tax receipt for $30.
Wark says if you’re just interested in the dinner and the head shaving, the cost is $25.
Wark says last year they raised about $25,000 and they hope to do the same this year.
Monies raised will go towards cancer research for children and lukemia.
There’s still time to register for golf at the golf club.
If you want to donate your head for the head shaving contact Saugeen Shores Police who are in charge of that portion of the evening.
John Divinski of 98 the Beach will be the Master of Ceremonies for the evening on Saturday, May 31st at the Saugeen Golf Club.
