A 19 year old rollerblader and a dog were hit by a pickup truck in Owen Sound.
It happened around 4:40 PM on Wednesday afternoon in the 700 block of 3rd Avenue East.
Police say the rollerblader was exercising his leashed dog when they were chased by a Bullmastiff — who was unleashed on its property.
The rollerblader tried to flee by darting between two parked cars — but they stepped infront of a pickup truck and were hit.
The 19 year old man was taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries and his 11 month old Husky was killed.
The truck driver was not hurt.
The 43 year old owner of the Bullmastiff faces charges.
