It’s time to help those in need this Thanksgiving day.
If you can’t make the trip to a donation drive box — how about just setting your food donation at the curb.
Bruce Area Solid Waste Recycle, the not-for-profit partnership of municipalities, are conducting their 14th annual Food Drive.
With your recycling pick-up you can set a bag of non-perishable food beside your blue box and their trucks will collect them.
The two-week drive is on now until September 23rd.
Last year approximately 8,320 pounds of donated food items were collected thru this program.
