Two Navy vessels will dock in Owen Sound this weekend, and you have a chance to tour the ships.
The Shawinigan and the Summerside are due to arrive in the Scenic City around 2 PM on Saturday.
Lieutenant William King says after they dock on the East side of the harbour, the crews will prepare for the Open house on Sunday.
Everyone is welcome to tour the two ships between 1 PM and 4 PM, or from 6 PM until 8 PM on Sunday.
The two ships will leave Monday afternoon around 4 PM for Little Current.
Lieutenant King says they will also stop in Goderich, and crew members will help in the rebuilding effort while there.
He says the goal is to raise awareness among Canadians of their Navy , and to spotlight the career opportunities in the service.
The two Maritime Coastal Defence vessels carry crews of 35 to 40 personnel on each.
