Some big boats will be on the auction block as the receiver unloads most of the material left inside Grew Manufacturing.
The company went into receivership earlier this year after the owner died following a shooting incident and police chase last February.
16 new boats will be sold off by Snider Auctions beginning at 10:30 AM Saturday at the old Grew Boat plant on highway 6 south of Owen Sound.
Hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of boats, trailers, boating accessories and vehicles are available.
Grew has liabilities of more than two million dollars owed to about one hundred creditors including two dozen employees.
While material from inside the plant is being auctioned off, BDO Receiver Bill Courage says they are selling off the business separately.
Tenders are to close on August 31st for the company and BDO felt selling the two separately would bring in more money for the creditors.
