There is a celebration today in Teeswater.
The Bank of Montreal is celebrating the 100th anniversary of its branch in Teeswater.
Residents have been enjoying the party with complimentary food and drink (from 11 am to 4 pm)
Branch Manager Joanne Cassidy says it’s their opportunity to say thanks to their customers for their support.
Since its opening in 1911 — the branch has been active in helping to develop the village into a strong farming community.
To mark the occasion — BMO’s Teeswater branch is donating 52 hundred dollars to the local fire department and is sponsoring this weekend’s Farm Safety Fair.
