A memorial will be held today for the only victim in the Goderich tornado.
61 year old Normand Laberge was killed Sunday afternoon while working at the salt mine.
A memorial service will be held at 1 PM today his residence in Lucknow.
Laberge’s family had raised questions about his death.
The couple had been together 14 years, and married for two.
A spokeswoman for Sifto’s parent company Compass Minerals says the mine was being evacuated — but Laberge wasn’t able to escape.
Kelly Barton says Laberge was up high because he oversees the loading of ships, and his position may have made him more vulnerable to the storm.
