South Bruce OPP are investigating several thefts in the Kincardine area.
Police believe the thieves are targeting licence plates as five have been stolen since May 9th.
One was stolen from a Kincardine car dealer and two were taken from trailers that were stolen from a Paisley home and a Bruce Township construction site.
In another incident — a green pickup truck and a trailer were stolen from a Kincardine Township home.
Police also report thieves tried to steal a pickup truck south of Paisley yesterday.
Anyone with information is asked to call the OPP or Crime Stoppers.
