The 36th annual Summerfolk Music and Crafts Festival is being hailed a hit.
Despite being one of the wettest festivals in recent memory — the Georgian Bay Folk Society reports revenues were up two per cent.
Final attendance numbers show over 15 thousand people went through the festival gates last weekend.
Organizers say the higher revenues will help cover the rising costs of Summerfolk.
The Folk Society also reports the addition of the Circus Court and splash pad in the children’s area was a tremendous success.
Early bird tickets for next year’s Summerfolk are already on sale.
