Parker the singing dog, has ties to Saugeen Shores.
Parker made his debut on Late Night with David Letterman this past Monday.
Parker’s owner is Darryl Kraemer; the son of former Mayor Mark Kraemer.
Darryl Kraemer tells us Parker, the Old English Sheep dog has been singing to The Young and the Restless theme for years.
Parker was one of three pets chosen to take part in the Stupid Pet Tricks segment on Letterman.
They travelled to New York for the taping of the show the day before.
Kraemer was worried the dog was going to get stage fright…and not perform, but that was not the case.
Kraemer says the 8 year old dog will `sing to anything with strings in it, but Young and the Restless is his favourite.’
It’s expected Parker will be a part of Pumpkinfest this year so you can catch him howling to tunes, in case you missed him on Letterman.
