Today is your last day to enjoy Summerfolk in Owen Sound.
The 36th annual Music and Crafts Festival is being held at Kelso Beach Park — and it begins with a Gospel morning at 10:30 AM at the amphitheatre.
The other stages around the park open at Noon today.
Artistic Director Richard Knechtel tells Bayshore Broadcasting News it has been an exciting weekend of music.
He believes it will continue today with many of their 55 performers still at Kelso Beach.
Knechtel says the workshops have been popular — as they have in the past — because of the intimacy between the crowd and the performers.
The Down By The Bay Stage will close at 8 PM after performances by the Arrogant Worms, Lorne Elliott and the Good Lovelies.
The focus will be on the amphitheatre for the final performances from 6 PM till 11 PM.
The list of performers on the main stage tonight include Ian Reid, the Chapmans and Corin Raymond and the Sundowners.
About 15 thousand people are expected walk through the gates of Summerfolk over the three day festival.
