A Walkerton man will be sentenced in November after pleading guilty to violating the Excise Act by possessing 199 cartons of unmarked cigarettes.
Court heard 67 year old Thomas Perry had been under police surveillance prior to his 2010 arrest in Aberfoyle, near Guelph.
During that time police saw him carrying cigarettes into several homes in the Walkerton area and then leaving empty-handed.
When he was stopped — police found unmarked cigarettes from native reservations in the trunk of his car.
Perry is due in court for a sentencing hearing in November.
