Kincardine residents will be getting a new choice for their health care purchases.
Shoppers Drug Mart will be opening a new store in that community Saturday on Broadway St.
Director of Communications for Shoppers, Tammy Smitham says this 14 thousand square foot location will include many new and improved services.
She says they include monthly Healthwatch health and wellness seminars, a full service beauty department and an expanded food and beverage section.
In addition there will be a health living nutrition centre for vitamins , dietary supplements and herbal remedies.
Smitham says the store will employ 25 people from the local community and will be open from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m seven days a week.
Meanwhile Smitham says that construction continues on the new Shoppers location in Owen Sound.
She says it too will be a 14 thousand square foot full service drug store offering a wide range of products from prescription drugs to toiletries and groceries.
Smitham says the 1.4 million dollar store on 1st Ave West and 10 St. west should be open by late summer.
The 2nd Avenue east store will be closed once the new facility is opened.
