Jayne Jagelewski is no longer the Acting Director of Community Services for Saugeen Shores.
At a recent council meeting — a bylaw was passed giving Jagelewski the position officially.
She was appointed the interim director on January 1st, following the retirement of former director Mike Myatt.
According to the bylaw, her new status is retroactive to July 11th of this year.
Jagelewski tells Bayshore Broadcasting news, her former position as Recreation Manager for the town will be shared by current employees for the time being.
She says they’ll study the issue further to see if a replacement really needs to be hired.
Jagelewski has been with the town for the past 17-years.
