The 3rd Annual “Streets Alive” Buskerfest is taking place in Owen Sound this weekend.
The Owen Sound Downtown Improvement Area is hosting the festival — featuring musicians, aerial acts, jugglers and children’s performers.
There was a preview concert on Friday night at Owen Sound City Hall.
The actual festival will take place from 10 AM to 4 PM on Satursday.
DIA Administrative Assistant Carolyn Bigley says they have five different locations for performers along 2nd Avenue East between 8th Street and 10th Street East.
The DIA uses the event to attract more people downtown to shop.
The performances are free — but Bigley hopes you’ll show your appreciation by tossing the performers a Toonie or two.
