The first of what is expected to be a series of fund-raising events for the Liberals in Bruce Grey Owen Sound, drew some 125 people to Noahs’ Inn, in Neustadt.
Along with a 10 dollar admission, several people made donations to the campaign.
They came out Tuesday evening to show their support for nominee Kevin Eccles, and to hear a speech by Ontario Attorney General Chris Bentley.
Eccles says the focus was on the economy and how the Liberal government at Queens park has made Ontario the place to invest.
He says in the month of June, Ontario created more jobs than all of the jobs created in the United States put together.
Another fund raising event for Eccles campaign is set for August 23rd at the Waterview Resort in Wiarton.
