The next step in the hunt for a new CAO for Kincardine will unfold at Kincardine council.
Councillors will get a report tonight on the four consulting firms that could be hired to help the municipality land a new Chief Administrative Officer to replace outgoing John deRosenroll.
Kincardine Mayor Larry Kraemer says they need to find the best qualified candidates.
He says the position is the most important one in the community.
Kraemer says council will get a handle on the consulting firms that might be able to do the job for them after being interviewed by a committee that was struck to find a replacement for deRosenroll.
Kraemer says he thinks the hunt will take the next 90-days or so which is not an unusual amount of time.
deRosenroll leaves the position August 19th after almost 15 years service to the community.
He’s moving to Eastern Ontario where he will become the CAO of the town of Perth.
