Lots of activities going on at the Southampton Town Hall today.
It’s the 100 year celebration of the town hall.
Southampton ward town councillor Diane Huber tells Bayshore Broadcasting News it kicks off at 3 PM with an open house.
At 6 PM — the 100th anniversary cake will be handed out as part of the celebration by members of Saugeen Shores Council will be decked out in period costumes.
At 7:30 PM — the regular Committee of the Whole and Council meetings will be held at the town hall.
There will be an update pertaining to the significant heritage attributes of the town hall.
Consultants will also present the current condition of the heritage designated building.
