Some people who bought tickets for the cancelled 2003 Watershed Festival in Walkerton may be getting some money back.
Next Presentations has paid 45 thousand dollars in restitution as part of a legal battle that has lasted almost three years.
The company must also pay a three thousand dollar fine after pleading guilty to 10 charges of unfair business practises in connection with the cancelled show.
But the remaining 332 charges against the company and all 342 seperate charges against promoter Richard Sharpe have been withdrawn.
The restitution money will be paid trhough the Ministry of Goverment and Consumer Services.
It represents just over 50 per cent of the cost of tickets purchased for the cancelled show.
