Bruce Peninsula OPP are investigating a sudden death, at Howdenvale Beach.
At 1:30 PM on Saturday, officers were approached in the Howdenvale beach area about a man with vital signs absent floating in the water.
The man was pulled to shore by concerned citizens and CPR immediately started.
The OPP say the 38 year old man from Kitchener, was then transported to hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The death is not considered suspicious and the cause appears to be related to pre-existing medical conditions.
A post-mortem examination has been completed and final cause of death has yet to be determined.
No name has been released.
