The Liberals are bringing a heavyweight to the riding of Huron Bruce.
Canada’s 17th Prime Minister will be the guest speaker for a Liberal fundraising dinner in St. Joseph.
John Turner is scheduled to speak at a 200 dollar a ticket “Red Tie Gala” on August 24th.
It will take place at the Hessenland Country Inn in St. Joseph.
Turner has held many portfolios in government — from Minister of Finance and Justice to Solicitor General to Canada’s First Minister of Consumer and Corporate Affairs.
Since leaving elected office in 1993 — Turner has worked as a lawyer at Miller Thomson.
