The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has issued a warning to not eat some Primeridge Pure brand Pure Cheese Curds.
The CFIA says they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
The affected products are stamped with the wording “Packed on 08.07.11”.
The Cheese Curds were sold in various weights at the Owen Sound Farmers’ Market on July 9th and also at the Leslieville Cheesemarket in Flesherton.
So far, there have been no reported illnesses associated with the product.
